About Slyde
The Product
Slyde the Playground Hound promotes fun and safety, allowing children to feel safe while having fun, especially while they are doing what they are hard-wired to do: take risks.
The Essence
To engage, inspire, and influence the health and safety of children everywhere.
For children to successfully navigate life’s challenges at school, at home, and at play, they need positive role models that emulate healthy living and communicate safe behaviors.
Often children emulate famous athletes, actors, or popular musicians as prescribed by current pop culture trends and the media. However, such examples may fall short as positive role models in conveying messages of excellence, dependability, and respect that parents, educators, and childcare givers want for their children.
Slyde the Playground Hound is a positive role model whose influence is enduring and ageless. Slyde teaches children to be respectful of their everyday environment and to be tolerant and compassionate with their peers. Slyde empowers children to be safety conscious and respond to potential dangers in healthy ways.
To engage, inspire, and influence the health and safety of children: this is the essense of Slyde the Playground Hound.
