SLYDE, born and raised in Ashton, loves to mingle with all the dogs during the American Dog Derby each year in Ashton.  

SLYDE WAS CREATED by Ashton resident and playground safety guru Curtis Stoddard to address the problem and provide the answer – Playground Safety Awareness, taught SLYDE style. SLYDE, Playground Hound not only teaches Idaho children, he is America's icon for teaching playground safety awareness to children.
