SLYDE GOES EAST
Slyde the Playground Hound made a special guest appearance at the 84th annual National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, April 2005. Slyde draws a large crowd where ever he goes. At the NAESP convention attendees waited in line to be photographed with everyone’s favorite playground safety hound. The BCI Burke Company, corporate sponsor of Slyde’s program for playground safety awareness, awarded six lucky elementary schools with live Slyde appearances valued at $200 each.
SLYDE GOES WEST
A family playground surface spreading night was held at the community built playground project, West Jordan, Utah in May. Thanks to Sof’Fall’s generous contribution, it was a huge success.
Sof’Fall Inc. introduced Slyde the Playground Hound to everyone that was lending a helping hand.
Slyde also visited a daycare facility where children learned about playground safety Slyde style. The children loved the story about a hound dog pup that grew up to be Slyde the Playground Hound. Sof’Fall is a corporate sponsor of the Slyde program.
