Park and Recreation Coordinators, Kim Woods and Brandy Kendirck, bring SLYDE The Playground Hound to many Manteca Park Events. SLYDE, known for his bigger than life attitude, captures the attention of small children and teaches them playground safety. At the dedication of Manteca's largest Park to dat, Woodward Park boosting of 51 acres reserved for the community, SLYDE made his appearance among other important folks such as City Councilman Jack Snyder. Jack has had his fingers in the planning and development of this newest of 40 Manteca City Parks, for over 20 years. He credits the vision and assitance of many other people who know the value of open space and safe play places for children.
